Meeting both sets of grandparents for the first time, and she was spoiled! Lots of love and cuddles! And not just for her, but for all the kiddos.
Day 1 Bon-Papa and Bonne-Maman's flight had an emergency landing because some old person was puking blood... So they arrived late... So we just chilled when they finally arrived. Then we let out some energy at Crazy Air, because the kids love that place.
Day 2 We went to the swimming pool, because we can do that in October in Arizona. Haha. Bon-Papa stayed home because he got a bad reaction from the flu shot. So glad we didn't because he looked absolutely miserable. We also went on a walk around the neighborhood and stopped by the playground for a little while. Bon-Papa joined us for that. A little fresh air helped, I think.
Day 3 Grandpa and Grandma arrived late the night before. In the morning we went to the pumpkin patch with all the grandparents and the cousins. The kids had a blast in the maze, on the train, on the bouncy pillow, etc.
I love that the kids have cousins close by. And I love that Grandpa and Grandma live close enough to get super cheap flights or even drive. But I am sad that Bon-Papa and Bonne-Maman are now so far that they really need a whole week off just to make it worth the trip. We miss them very much. In fact, Kendall cried after they left. We had to call them on the phone so that she could tell them how much she misses them, which I'm not sure they understood over all the sobbing. This girl is so sweet and so loving. She has a really big heart under that "I'm tougher than my brothers" shell.
