Just because... There is so much love in those eyes!

Kendall is 14 months

Kendall is 14 months! It's fun to watch her little personality develop more and more each day. I love that she is getting more independent and girly. She is definitely not a baby anymore. You know, I actually miss her when she sleeps. Sometimes I even go into her room and watch her; yeah, I just stand in the door and watch her sleep. She's just so stinkin' cute!

This month, Kendall:
- got 4 more teeth, within 4 days, for a total of 8 teeth
- discovered that she loves to draw
- started dancing to music
- loves crawling everywhere, including over her brothers
- enjoys hiding under a blanket with her brothers
- loves to play at the splash pads
- enjoys playing the piano
- doesn't seem to enjoy being rear-facing in the minivan anymore
- hates being dropped off at the gym so that I can work out
- says, eyes, book, block, all done, and a few other words I forgot to write down as she said them

I hope Kendall continues to be a smiley, happy, fun-loving girl. She still has the most contagious smile I have seen and laugh I have heard. She always brings a smile to my face, no matter what is going on at the moment. I love her so stinkin' much!

Father's Day

I knew from the moment I met Billy that he'd be a keeper! And then I saw him interacting with his nieces and nephews, and I knew I had to marry him! We are celebrating his 3rd Father's Day and he has yet to prove me wrong about his parenting skills. He is the best daddy in the whole world - patient, loving, fun,... and he is a great example to them. I hope the kids never take him for granted. I hope they appreciate all the sacrifices that he has made and is still making for our family. And I hope they always look up to him, wanting to be "just like daddy" someday.
