This month, Logan's vocabulary has increased a lot! He expresses himself and understand so much better than he did just last month. He points to things that he wants, he signs for "more" and says "more", and he follows simple directions. He also says "peaz"(please) to get things from me. This month, he also started waving, finally, by moving his hand up and down. He can point to various body parts and name them, including belly button, nose, mouth, eyes, toes, and tongue. His favorite word has been "no", although he also likes to say "Taydo" (Taylor). He likes to run around the couch and chase others or be chased. He likes to put adult shoes on and attempts to put his own on, too. He lets me know when he wants to go outside by grabbing his shoes, coat, or waiting by the door. He is very mechanical and loves to try to figure out how things work. The other day, he grabbed a toothbrush, sat underneath his highchair, and messed with the screws using his toothbrush. He knows how to start/stop the dishwasher and push the handicap button to get the doors to open up at the store. He loves to hear me sing and sings along. At bedtime, he actually gets us started on singing. He occasionally fake-cries to get something that he wants or to get Taylor in trouble. He turns the faucet off when we wash his hands after meals. He figured out how to open drawers and take everything out. And although he still likes to steal whatever Taylor plays with, he is also really good at sharing and brings Taylor's cup over to him whenever he has a drink. And he knows which cup is whose. He sometimes also feeds Taylor or brings toys to him. And finally, he likes to rub lotion in, himself, Taylor, or me. The first time Billy saw Logan rubbing lotion on my legs, he said, "Is that what you're teaching our kids? To pamper you?" He's a sweet boy!

This month, Taylor's vocabulary has also increased a lot, although it shows more in his understanding than expression. He points to things that he wants, he signs more "more", and he follows simple directions. This month, he also started waving, finally, by opening and closing his hand. He can point to various body parts when asked, including belly button, nose, mouth, and tongue. He loves to share with Logan, anything, anytime, and anywhere. And he knows which stuff is whose. What he doesn't like, though, is when Logan takes things from him, so he bites him, and has to go to time-out for it. He figured out how to open drawers and take everything out. He is still trying to figure out how to open doors by messing with the doorknob (and has figured it out at his cousin's). He also figured out how to undress himself, top and bottom, and does it regularly. He loves to run around naked, that silly but fun boy! And finally, he likes to rub lotion in, but mostly on himself and me. He's a sweet boy!
