Piano Recital

The kids' first piano recital :-0 I was super nervous for them, remembering my own anxiety and my numerous mistakes, due not to my lack of practice or lack of talent, but to my anxiety. I always hated performing in front of an audience. And I kind of hate putting my kids through that, knowing how much I hated it. But they're not like me. They held it together. Sure, there were some nerves playing in front of 30-and-some people, but they all looked calmed and relaxed, even though they had just memorized their songs THAT week. Honestly, I was impressed at how well they did. They didn't let their nerves get the best of them. They played it cool and they looked cool doing it. They've only been playing for 3 months, and were by far the newest, youngest kids there, but they played awesome. So proud of my little piano players. (And no, I don't have a picture of Taylor at the piano because I forgot to take the picture while I was recording the video.)
