First Day of School

School is bitter-sweet for this momma.

 

I love that they can be in a setting where they can learn.

I love that they are making friends.

I love that Logan and Taylor are separated and can be their own person.

I love that I get a little time to myself.

But I hate how much I miss them.

I hate that there is so much to do.

I hate that I actually have very little time to accomplish things.

I hate that I spend so much time driving around, taking them to and from school.

 

With that said, Logan, Taylor, and Kendall love school. I don't ever feel like I am "making" them go to school (like I "make" them go to church). They are making friends and are excited about the things that they learn. Sure Logan told his teacher he felt "mad and bored" on his first day of school, but that's just Logan being Logan.

And Kendall is doing really well. She knew everybody's name by the second week of school, and she gets really excited every day to tell me what she learned at school. It makes me happy that they're happy at school.

(And by the way, Kendall has been asking for a baby because everyone shares a room with someone, except her and she feels alone at night. Poor little baby girl...)
