I was NOT excited for my birthday this year. People told me to enjoy it, embrace it, and blah blah blah... But still, I was NOT looking forward to the Big 3-0.
I have to admit, however, that I had a great birthday. It was actually really fun. And I have my friends and family to thank for that. They really made me feel special and loved.
First off, breakfast with Kendall, Jody, and Amber, while the boys were in school. Then playdate and lunch at the park with Logan, Kendall, Kortney, Camille, Sia, and Robert. And to finish off the day, Billy took me and the kids to DSW, City Barbecue, and Greater's Ice cream.
That weekend, Sia, Kortney, Emily, and Brittany also took me out to dinner at PF Chang's and got me a very sweet basket of goodies (chocolates, gift cards, etc.).
