Color Me Rad 5K

This past weekend was the Color Me Rad 5K. I had been looking forward to the race for months! Rachelle, Maloree, Sia and I were so pumped about the race that we had a pasta night and tutu-making night the night before.

I had such a great time running this 5K with some of my best friends, ever. These girls are inspiring, amazing, thoughtful, and caring. I love them so much that it makes me sad to think that in 2 years, we will all go in separate ways.



The actual run was a blast. I don't particularly enjoy running, but this was different, because there was excitement throughout the run. There were volunteers throwing color bombs (colored cornstarch) at the runners through the run. It made the run easier and fun. I love it. And I would do it again. And again. And again.

I love that I ran this race with these girls. We created lifelong memories. We will always remember our first color run, and remember that we did it together.
