Kendall is 2!!!

I almost shed a tear every time I think about the day Kendall was born. She went through some much as a new baby, but it has made her stronger. She is the most determined and strong-willed little girl I've ever met. Just a few days after Kendall turned 2, the 'terrible twos' came in full force, and we all got to see just how determined and strong-willed she really is. She has the loudest and most piercing scream of any kid at Disney World (and there are a lot of kids there). And she uses it not only when she wants something but also when she doesn't get what she wants. And when this happens, mommy is the only one who can get her to calm down. We're working on that... I'm sure some day I'll be greatful for her determination, but right now I'm exhausted by her screams.
On the bright side, she is very sweet and caring. She always shows concern when a baby is crying or a child is sad. She loves to hug and kiss her babies, barbies, and stuffed animals.
She is also very smart and speaks in full sentences, using 'I'. It makes our communication go smoothly, which I enjoy very much.
Kendall is also independent, just like I was as a kid. She likes to walk by herself, feed herself, and pretty much do everything by herself.
She likes to be a big girl, and do everything Logan and Taylor do, even if she is too small for it. For example, she wants to walk like them, instead of being stuck in the stroller, and she wants to eat in a big chair, instead of being stuck in a high chair.
Kendall is such a joy to be around. I love her laugh, which always brings a smile to my face. She melts my heart like no one else can. If only she could figure out that hugging me can get her what she wants a lot easier than screaming can...
