Fly Dance Competition (#2)

Alexis and Everly haven't been super consistent with their duo practices, so we signed them up for an extra competition. Alexis didn't have to perform her other two dances. She only had to perform her duo. She and Everly rushed a little bit, but they made that time up holding their leg extension. They held that pose for at least 8 seconds, which is a long time to stand on one foot, with the other one up in the air. They didn't rank, but it was good exposure and good practice.

Cheersport Cheer Competition (#5)

The Cheersport Competition was only one day. But we had nearly 4 hours between the time that Starstruck competed, and the time Fierce competed. Thankfully, Sarah K had a genius idea: she set up a pop up tent in the parking lot, and we "tailed-gated", with tons of pizzas and snacks that everyone brought. Genius!
As far as the competition itself, the girls hit zero and did a fantastic job! I love watching Kendall in her element. Like she says, "Cheer is my life!" And it really is!

Aloha Cheer Competition (#4)

This was A BIG ONE! There were so many teams, so many people, from Nevada, California, Utah, and all of Arizona!

Day 1:
Coach Wakefield no longer coaches at Empire Elite, but he came to show his support, and Kendall was on cloud 9!

Day 2:
We "might" have gotten in trouble for showing up late to warm up... our lunch in downtown Phoenix took longer than we expected...

Starstruck got Second Place! Woo hoo!

Kindergarten Field Trip

Field trips are back! They're a little different from before, with the masks and all, but they're back.

The bus ride was a little painful... The kids were very excited, and by "excited", I mean "loud"!

"The Hungry Caterpillar" was a super cute play, and it caught the kids' attention almost the entire time.

Once we got back to the school, we took the kids to the playground next to the school where they ran wild and crazy.

My little group of 4 cute kiddos.
