Cheer Photoshoot

We've done a lot of photoshoots with Alexis, and part of that is because she has multiple costumes. So I was super excited when the gym announced that they'd have a professional photographer come to photograph the girls, individually, and as a team. I love how the pictures turned out. (The small group picture is Kendall's stunt group.)

Alexis's Photoshoot #3

We've been trying to get a photoshoot with Alexis and Everly since the beginning of the year. We've had to reschedule, for this or that, multiple times. So when Everly puked after class one Thursday, with a scheduled photoshoot on Saturday, I decided to say "Screw it!" and take Alexis on her own. I'm so happy with how the pictures turned out. She took an hour to position her and make sure everything looked perfect. I will cherish these pictures forever.

Alexis's Dance Photoshoot #2

2 photographer moms donated time to come to the studio and do pictures for the dancers. The first one made Alexis do weird faces, so I wasn't surprised when we only received 3 pictures back.

The second was really cool, but she really rushed Alexis. I felt like she took at least 5 minutes with each older girl, but only about 30 seconds with the little ones. We waited soooo long for her turn, and it was over in 30 seconds. Seriously. And once again, we only got 3 pictures back, because that's all she took.

Haley Cheer Competition

Today was Alexis's first time performing her Haley Cheer routine. They weren't competing, just performing at halftime. The girls looked so stinkin' cute... all kindergartners.

Today was also Kendall's 8th (?) time competing. I think they might have missed 2 because of Covid. The 3rd-6th grade girls got second place for their cheer routine and third or dance. Ryan Elementary didn't rank. I was shocked because they've been our biggest competition thus far. Tammy later told me they got disqualified because the judges saw a lack of contact on the basket. Good for us, I guess...
