Halloween Pictures overload

Sadly, our carved pumpkins did not make it to Halloween. We carved them 8 days before Halloween, because of time constrictions, so our pumpkins were soft and moldy just 2 days after being carved. It was super gross.

Alexis was allowed to dress up for dance, but like most other girls, her costume was a little constricting, so we opted for a cute little tutu. She wasn't too happy about it, but literally everyone else did the same.

On her tumbling day, we dressed her up again, and I was so in love with this cute little 80s outfit. She rocked it!

Dress rehearsal with the boys. You know, just to make sure the costumes worked well before they put them on on Halloween day. Taylor was the T-Rex and Logan was the dragon.

The ward's trunk-or-treat was 2 days before Halloween. Berkley came with us. And coincidentally, Ben dressed up as a blown-up dinosaur, too.

Kendall as Wednesday Addams.

Alexis and myself as 80s work-out girls.

We passed out full-size candy bars again. I like being known as "the full size candy bars house"!

Evie ("The Descendants"), Morticia Addams and Wednesday Addams.

The cousins came to trick-or-treat with us.

The loots!

Mud Run with Kendall

I signed up for this MudRun 3-4 months ago. But I only told Kendall about it a few days ago. Why? Because I knew she wouldn't be thrilled... And I was right.
I did convince her to go, but there was no running involved in this. We walked the entire time. The obstacles were cool, though. I think there were 14 or 15. We had to crawl through mud, climb mud mounds, balance, etc. It was super fun, I thought. I think Kendall had a good time, too, but she'll never admit that. I think it's going to become our own little tradition. The one I'll look forward to, and the one she'll dread each year.

Celebrity Convention

Alexis attended her first ever dance convention. It was optional, but I was surprised that only she and Juniper signed up for it. It was in Phoenix, about 45 minutes away. They encouraged the dancers to stay at the hotel, but we drove.
On the first day, Alexis had jazz, followed by tap, and then hip hop. Her favorite class was hip hop because the instructor was super fun. He really was great with this age group. He made me wat to get up and dance!

That second day, Alexis had jazz funk, ballet, and musical theater. Jazz funk was the best class, ever! They danced to a funked up version of "Let it Go", and the girls had a blast! Musical theater was pretty fun, too, and the instructor was very engaging and entertaining.
The parents were then invited to watch the girls perform one of their combos. For this age group, it was their musical theater combo. The girls did awesome, and they were super cute on that stage.
The instructors then passed out awards and scholarships, but none to the girls ages 4-6, so we left. We still had a 45 minute drive ahead of us.

I am so proud of Alexis for trying something new, something out of her comfort zone. She was focused and ready to learn, and she danced her little booty off. I can't wait to see her grow as a dancer.
