I feel like we created so many fun memories in 2018 that it's hard to pick just a few. This is going to be kind of long, but please know that even then, I narrowed it way down. My favorites of 2018 are:

William was sleeping most of New Year's Eve because he had worked a 24-hour shift the previous day. I decided to take the kids to Urban Jungle to keep the house quiet. The kids loved it! Then we rode the bikes in front of the house for a little while. Only until the sky got cloudy. And then it started raining... Boo! I thought for sure our plans to do fireworks were going up in smokes. But before that, a nice quiet dinner at home and a chocolate fondue for dessert. Finally, around 9:30, the rain stopped and we decided to light up our fireworks. I'm glad I hadn't put Alexis down to sleep yet because she loved all the noise and lights. She even got to hold her very own sparkler, with supervision. After we went back inside, I put Alexis to sleep (it was 11 PM). The rest of the kids stayed up until midnight, and I was in bed my 12:03 AM.

We made some really fun memories in 2018, and I hope we will continue to do that in 2019. We have a few trips planned out already, and I'm looking forward to traveling more and more. Happy New Year!!!
