Aria's blessing

One of the many things that I will miss about living in Ohio is our proximity to Maryland. We could literally decide that day to go visit my family and just pack up and drive. Now we're going to have to plan, book flights, rent a van, and blah blah blah BLAH!
Our last trip to Maryland was a blast though. I wanted to see my new little niece before she got too big; although by the time I made it out, she was already nice and big at 4 months old.
Logan and Taylor weren't really sure about Aria. Mostly because she cried whenever she wasn't in mommy's arms. But Kendall loved playing little mommy and attempting to comfort her baby. Still, she spent most of her time with Luc. These two were inseparable. They did everything together, even going to the bathroom. (So Kendall would like to take some credit for Luc potty training not long after our visit- haha).
We got to spend lots of quality time together. And the weather was perfect, so we got to play outside a ton. The kids are going to miss seeing the family, We've been spoiled seeing them 2-4 times a year. We're gonna have to make the trip at least once a year, no matter how much flying with kids sucks.

Ballet/Tap

You can't keep these two apart. Kendall and Amber are the definition of Best Friends. They love doing everything together. Of course they argue, as all best friends do, but they always come back to each other.
So it was perfect when Jody and I found out that the Hilliard Rec Center was offering Ballet/Tap classes for 3-5 year-olds. We signed them up right away so that we could get them in the same class. And they have loved every minute of it. It was so fun.

Kendall's first swim lessons

Kendall started taking swim lessons this spring. I think it was great that I was able to sign her up for the same class as Amber. They actually motivated each other to do better. Sure they talked a lot. Sure they didn't listen a ton. But when it was their turn, they gave it their all. And Kendall did a fantastic job! She wasn't afraid. She was ambitious and brave. She was a little stiff, but I think she'll just get better and better with each session. I am so proud of my little fish!
