Ballet/Tap

You can't keep these two apart. Kendall and Amber are the definition of Best Friends. They love doing everything together. Of course they argue, as all best friends do, but they always come back to each other.
So it was perfect when Jody and I found out that the Hilliard Rec Center was offering Ballet/Tap classes for 3-5 year-olds. We signed them up right away so that we could get them in the same class. And they have loved every minute of it. It was so fun.

Kendall's first swim lessons

Kendall started taking swim lessons this spring. I think it was great that I was able to sign her up for the same class as Amber. They actually motivated each other to do better. Sure they talked a lot. Sure they didn't listen a ton. But when it was their turn, they gave it their all. And Kendall did a fantastic job! She wasn't afraid. She was ambitious and brave. She was a little stiff, but I think she'll just get better and better with each session. I am so proud of my little fish!

Easter

I love Cypress! Logan is in such a great school. I love that the parents are completely involved in their children's education. But mostly, I love that it's a Christian school and that they talk about Easter and what it means. Plus they have parties for special occasions, like Easter, so that's fun.

Easter was sooooo cold this year. Good thing I had brought the kids' coats because they were freezing. But that didn't keep them from going into the inflatables and rollercoasters. And it definitely didn't keep them from filling their baskets with as many eggs as they could fit into them.
I'm glad we went with the Rileys, too. They are such good friends and I am happy we got to maximize our time with them.

Easter and General Conference happened the same weekend this year, so the kids found their goodies (mostly candy, socks and underwear), then we spent the rest of the day listening to our Prophet and his apostles. Great weekend. Very uplifting.

Maloree, my friend

I think I wrote this a while ago, but I forgot to post it. Ha. With everything that's been going on (selling the house in Ohio, looking for a house in Arizona, and just the every day life), I've been slacking on keeping my blog up to date.

Maloree is a rockstar. She is so good at everything that she does. And she makes it all look so easy. She is my role model. She is a great wife, a super mom, and an amazing friend. She is funny (sometimes inappropriate, that's the best) social, caring, chill, and fun.

I just don't think Ohio will be the same without her. Erin left, Vanessa left, now it's Maloree's turn, and I hate it. I hate that all of my best friends are moving.

I don't where we'll be next year. There's a good chance we'll stay in Ohio for another year for a fellowship. Then we might stay for a job. Who knows...? I just hope I can form new friendships, or else Ohio is really going to suck with all my best friends gone.
